2006 Secure File Upload
  • Worked alone
  • Used .htaccess files, and php to develop a secure file upload script. The script works as a secure email attachment method, which allows users to securely download their attachments using SSL. The recipient is sent an email directing them to their downloadable attachment

2005 Custom Forms Downloads

  • Designed and implemented script to allow employer groups to have their own customized forms pages on our website, and download their enrollment and application forms from the web

2004 Security Life Reporting System

  • System was designed to reformat data and report data on insured plan participants, claim data, and accounting information to Security Life Insurance Company

  DentAssure Bill Balancing System

  • System was designed to allow the accounting department to balance bills and payments based on data taken from a legacy system. The system was later updated to import data from an Oracle Database

  Web Based Hour Entry System

  • System was designed to allow employers to enter eligibility hours for their employees, and have the data exported to a legacy mainframe system

2003 Web Based Dental Insurance Quotation System

  • System was designed to allow insurance agents to login and quote insurance for small employer groups. The system was written in PHP with a mySQL database backend

2002 IAI SIHRTE Cobra Notice and HIPAA Notice system
  • Worked alone (Based on Specification Interviews)
  • System was designed to import eligibility data from a third party system for SIHRTE eligibility administration, and output Cobra Notices and HIPAA notices as needed. User interface was also designed

2001 IAI ID Card Printing System 2
  • Worked alone (Based on Specification Interviews and previous Software Design and notes)
  • System was designed to take advantage of export features of legacy application used for eligibility maintenance, and to allow import of eligibility data from other plan administration software as well

  • Added functionality for Plan certificate printing for the DentAssure dental plan

  • Developed a system to produce work orders for garage door company
  • System was implemented and used for approximately 2 years
2000 CSUS: Department of Computer Science Web Browser
  • Worked alone at Department Chairman’s request
  • Developed proprietary web browser interface for the department. Web browser utilized the Internet Explorer Browser OCX control
  • Written in Delphi
  • Browser restricted navigation to CSUS web sites
  • Implemented and placed in service. Current status: unknown
1998 Plant Label Program Haight Nursery
  • Developed under the direction of Norman Bos
  • Wrote Visual Basic program to read QuickBooks export data, and create a text print file for plant label sticks and wrappers
  • Implemented and used for at least two years. Current state, unknown
1997 IAI (Integrity Administrators, Inc.) ID Card Printing System
  • Worked alone (Based on Specification Interviews)
  • Developed an Access 97 database with integrated user interface to allow Administration Personnel to print plan Identification Cards as needed. Allowed the user to control most text on ID cards for maximum customization
  • System was implemented and replaced by a new system in 2001

CSUS Used Book BBS Project
  • Worked in a team of four people
  • Used Delphi to develop a small database system with a user interface which allowed users to place and read ads for used books
  • System was developed for class work, and never actually implemented

  • Dentinex by Interplan Provider and Pricing Database (for IAI)
  • Quickcheck Conversion Program (Converted data from one Application to another)
  • EDD DE542 Conversion (Converted Data for EDD file required by law)
  • Report Viewer (Allowed users to manipulate and re-print reports generated by legacy software system)
  • Random Password Generator (Uses words from a word list for simple passwords)
